Morag Myerscough's ode to ribbon in Coventry

The Colour Feed:

Signallng joy and positivity from every angle, whichever location in the world London Artist Morag Myerscough creates her chromatically charged installations for, her signagture style of bold block patterns and typography stops everyone in their tracks.

The latest destination to unveal one of her vibrant visions is Coventry, where as part of its year as Capital of Culture (2021) the high street has been revamped with her colourful designs. The inspiration behind the kaleidoscopic art is ribbon, a lost craft, which is part of the city's heritage, as it was woven here from the 1700s to the 1860s. And just like ribbon is woven into the city's part, it's now woven into the architecture.
